Dheyani did a great job evaluating me and giving me realistic and achievable goals/exercises. She really cares about her patients and is so great at answering questions. I experienced pain from repetitive motions of my hand and wrist and Dheyani worked with me to come up with several manageable exercises to do daily to ease the pain. She was gentle and communicative through the whole process, and my hand and wrist have not been hurting since I have been commuting to exercises she prescribed for me. I recently had the pleasure of receiving treatment from Dheyani for my wrist tendon pain, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. She demonstrated a remarkable level of expertise and thoroughness throughout my treatment. I recently completed a series of physical therapy sessions with Dr. Dheyani Malde at SF Bay Area PT, focusing primarily on my lower back pain, which is primary exacerbated by an extra curve in my lumbar (lower spine) region a condition known as increased lumbar lordosis, and having a job where I primarily sit at a desk all day.
From the start, Dr. Malde tailored a program aimed at strengthening my lowerback/pelvic region and stabilizing my deeper abdominal muscles (Transverse Abdominis) and performing stretches and exercises that would help fight my discomfort and pain.
What set Dheyani apart was her meticulous approach to care. She frequently checked in on my progress, demonstrating a genuine interest in my well-being and any improvements I was experiencing. Her commitment to creating a personalized and holistic treatment plan was evident in the curated exercises she provided, complete with videos, suggested frequency, and day splits. The workouts were targeted and not overly strenuous, yet highly effective.
Dheyani possesses a remarkable ability to listen and communicate complex issues in a manner that is easy to understand. She was a gentle motivator, always ensuring that I was comfortable with the exercises and that they were precisely what I needed for my recovery. I didn’t know what any of my issues meant and the areas to target. She explained it very thoroughly! Beyond the primary focus of our sessions, I also had concerns about foot mechanics and running. Dheyani went above and beyond by providing excellent resources and engaging in thoughtful discussions about these secondary concerns.
Thanks to Dheyani's expertise and personalized care, I have noticed a significant improvement in my lower back pain and overall comfort. Dheyani is not just a great physical therapist but a fantastic person who truly cares about her patients. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone seeking physical therapy services.

Wow. Quick and effective lifestyle solutions from Dr. Dheyani!
Everytime I chat and rehab with Dr. Dheyani I learn a lot about my body and how to rehab certain areas of my ankles or quads or shoulders. Dr. Dheyani is amazing at finding physical solutions personalized for whatever the situation, like working with previous injuries or return to sport objectives. Dr. Dheyani teaches patients how to fish vs giving patients a fish (maybe how a chiropractor would function).
Some things that set Dheyani apart -- she listens! She listens and she is approachable; she is easy to work with and learn from. Also, Dheyani provides a unique digital collection of resources for patients to learn more about the exercises, keep track of scheduling and record progress. She is mobile and flexible to meet at any location. She is creative and suggests activities like monkey bars.
I'm so glad I found this team; I'm feeling blessed. Physical health is mental health!
